===Development===
Presser was designed by [[Cassy Sark]] under the pseudonym Bal Dillinger. Presser was originally intended to be a head upgrade for ''Generations'' Warpath, but the designer pressed for it to be a whole figure.<REF>http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-3rd-party-discussion/414229-igear-not-impactor-33.html#post10453941</REF> The finaly figure was designed to stand a head taller than FansProject Defender.<ref>http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-3rd-party-discussion/414229-igear-not-impactor-33.html#post10453970</REF>

Presser was teased on the last page of the comic that came with iGears [[Attack (iGear)|Attack]], with the text of the ad reading "Everything will change in 2011... COMING SOON".
