Bounce was apprehended by [[Sideswipe (Transformers)|Sideswipe]] and was being transported via [[Ground Bridge]] to the [[Bee Team]]'s base near [[Crown City (Transformers)|Crown City]] when their Ground Bridge was affected by that of the [[Rescue Bots]] located in [[Griffin Rock]]. This resulted in the pair being dumped into the ocean off Griffin Rock's coast, which allowed Bounce to escape and begin scrawling [[Cybertron]]ian graffiti all over the island. Sideswipe attempted to recapture him and thus crossed paths with the Rescue Bots and the [[Burns family]]; together they were able to apprehend Bounce so that Sideswipe could take him into custody. Bounce was presumably an inmate of the ''[[Alchemor]]'' who escaped when it crash-landed on [[Earth (Transformers)|Earth]].
