In the story Spearhead was piloting a Stone Wing with Magmar and Saberstone when they crash in the Rock Glades. The trio discover the Crystal Palace, the strong Hold of the Jewel Lords. They attempt to steal a Nuclo-Crystal from the Jewel Lords, but end up being tricked by one of Sunstone's mirrored projections.
