Several attempts have been made to turn Micronauts into a cartoon series.
1998 Abrams Gentile Entertainment

In 1998, AGE, Annex Entertainment, Gribouille and Kaleidoscope Media Group planned to produce a Micronauts animated series starting with a five-part miniseries to air on the Sci Fi Channel in Fall of 1998, followed by a syndicated 26 episode Micronauts animated series for 1999, with action figures and a Marvel tie-in comic announced. The project appears to be shelved or canceled.[1][2]
According to Dave Johnson the series almost made it to TV, but was scrapped when Hasbro bought the rights to the Micronauts. The series would have featured Force Commander, Space Glider, Acroyear, Pharoid, Biotron, a female yellow Time Traveler and an original character called Dit-Dat fighting against Baron Karza.[3]
Basically it was gonna be like the Avengers. Started with Karza industries that developed a suit (Force Commander) that could shrink down to the Microverse. John Karza is the scientist that discovers the Microverse. His father the owner of Karza Industries forbids John from using the suit. The pilot using the suit gets stuck down there because the suit malfunctions. And he’s down there for years and basically joins a group of heroes fighting against evil forces. But back on earth, it’s only been months. John Karza believes the pilot stayed down there on purpose. Develops another, better suit to follow the pilot. Once there he decides to overtake the Microverse. And does. Basically defeating the Micronauts.
But we were going to start the show with Baron Karon as he is now known deciding to come back to earth with his new army. The Micronauts vow to stop him using stolen tech to also come back to earth. But something goes wrong again and they’re stuck at toy size.
A cool idea we had was after they defeat Baron Karza. His father vows revenge on the Micronauts and decides to follow his son’s plan to rule the Earth and becomes King Karza.
So Force Commander was basically Iron man. Acroyear was kinda the Hulk. Biotron was Jarvis. Phariod was Doc Strange. Time Traveler was The Flash. Space Glider was Captain America. And a new character named Dit-Dat, a new character that is two characters in one.
This announcement remained on their web site until 2009.[5]
2018 Boulder Media Limited
Boulder Media Limited (a then-subsidiary of Hasbro Studios) announced it was developing a Micronauts animated series in 2018, with a projected release date of 2019.[6] 52 half-hour episodes were fully produced, with production concluding in January 2020, but to date, the series has not yet been released. There has been no official announcement regarding its failure to release or its future; executive producer and head writer Eric Rogers has stated that he has received no information from Hasbro on the fate of the show,[7][8] and has speculated that it was turned into a tax write-off.[9] Other sources refute this, claiming that Hasbro still hope to release the series in conjunction with a potential live-action project in the future.[10]
In July 2027 the full two seasons were leak on the internet.
