Cupola is a fictional character and third-party Transformer homage to Generation 1 Chromedome and Stylor made by Maketoys in 2015.

Cupola is a third-party Transformer homage to Generation 1 Chromedome.

Development

Maketoys posted a silhouette image of Cupola, Gundog and Hellfire on their web page in January 2015.[1]

A prototype of Cupola was displayed at Thailand Toy Expo in April 2015.[2]

Cupola went up for preorder in June 2015.

Cupola was released in July 2015.

Cupola was displayed at STGCC in September 2015.[3]

In February 2016 Maketoys announced they would be releasing updated foot joint parts for Cupola and a updated helmet for Iron Will, which were expected to be released in May 2016.

A new mold by Maketoys. Turns from a car to robot. Comes with a driver and two guns. The car's driver becomes the head of the robot.
