Witwicky family

The Witwicky family is a human family featured in several branches of the Transformers franchise, usually as allies of the Autobots.

History

Generation 1

The Transformers

In The Transformers, the Witwickys would become the Autobots' first human allies after Sparkplug and his son Spike were saved from a Decepticon attack by the giant robots. The two would assist their new friends in acclimating to Earth culture, teaching them about various aspects of Earth and humanity. Sparkplug would also be a valuable asset as a mechanic, helping the Autobots with various tasks and even aiding in the life-saving repair of Omega Supreme on one occasion.

Spike eventually married one of the Autobots' other human allies, Carly, and they had a son named Daniel who would also become a recurring ally to the Transformers.
